“michael’s musical explorations began during a pause in his ‘physical’ works during the years 2000 01 and continue to this day. his music is influenced by jazz, fusion, electronic, blues and both urban and natural environments. it is of course a reflection of his life and the desire to produce a body of modern work which represents his continued path of reduction and minimalism yet retaining the essence of emotion and connection. each track is forward leaning and challenges the listener to create his or her own journey. they most certainly each paint an individualistic, yet universal, world of both grit and sheen.” – bvs
